Over the course of twenty years, we welcomed eleven children, all born within the intimacy of our marriage, choosing to offer choosing to welcome each baby with all the respect and love they deserve. These births took place on the four continents where we have lived, and in very diverse circumstances (at home, in a tent, in a rented mobile home, in a hotel room or in the car). Aware that the richness of our experience in respectful birth could be a source of inspiration and help for future parents wishing to experience childbirth more naturally, we decided to share our experience through this book.

This book is a guide that shows and encourages mastery of childbirth for couples seeking autonomy during the birth of their child. It is especially intended for future parents who wish to offer their baby a birth with all the Respect and Love they deserve.
We chose to experience each birth within the intimacy of our marriage, in order to preserve the well-being and full respect of the mother and baby, and to give this joyful event a sacred character.
In this work, we recount the path that led us to Autonomous Natural Childbirth. Then we present the necessary seeds: state of mind, emotional aspects, preparation during pregnancy. Next, we describe step by step the stages of a birth experienced as a couple, from the early signs to the falling off of the umbilical cord. Finally, the fruits of such a birth are revealed: benefits at all levels for the baby, the mother, the couple, the family and society.
Illustrated with more than 120 photographs and explanatory diagrams, this book is intended to be educational and practical, but also poetic and philosophical. Very concrete and clear in content, it is also pleasant in form. This makes it an easy book to consult, pleasant to read and nourishing for all those who wish to understand the art of a natural and peaceful birth experienced in the heart of marital love.

A world free of fear and ego games. A world governed by the forces of authentic, unconditional and universal love. A world where peace, joy, tolerance and benevolence have become the norm.
Gandhi said : « Be the change you want to see in the world », and it’s up to each of us to act at our own level to build this New World right now. Let’s stop criticizing everything we don’t like on this Earth: it’s a waste of time and energy!
Let’s put on our glasses of love, and together, let’s be the courageous builders of a better world, more and more in line with the ideal we feel in our hearts, knowing that, as Albert Schweitzer said: « The ideal remains for us what a star is for the sailor. It cannot be reached, but it remains a guide. »
