Stays to experience a lifestyle in harmony with Nature in the Andes

Nestled at an altitude of 1,650 meters (about 5,400 feet) in the Bolivian Andes, at the gateway to Amboró National Park, the ¡Viva la Vida! Center welcomes you to a place where everything invites you to find your way back to your full vitality: the warmth of the sun, the pure mountain air, living water straight from the rain, a pleasant subtropical climate year-round, and nourishing land cultivated using permaculture and abundant in fruit and forest trees.

Here, you can easily choose to walk barefoot among mandarin, mulberry, and banana trees. You pick your food for the day straight from the branch, still warm from the sun. This constant contact with unspoiled Nature lets the body rediscover, almost effortlessly, what it has always needed to rebalance and regenerate itself.

Whether you come to regain your energy, soothe aches and pains that have lingered for too long, understand and experience firsthand the keys to natural health and natural farming, or simply treat yourself to a real break to take stock of your life, the ¡Viva la Vida! Center offers you a space for just that.

A living vision of health

At the ¡Viva la Vida! Center, fatigue, pain, and illness are never seen as enemies to fight, but as signals the body sends when an imbalance has set in. As Hippocrates already said more than two thousand years ago: “If you are sick, first find out what you did to become so.” The approach I offer you is to give your body everything it needs — light, fresh air, living food, a respected rhythm, soothed emotions, suitable exercise, direct contact with Nature — so that it can find its way back to its natural balance on its own.

Who is a stay for?

The Center welcomes anyone able to take part in everyday physical activities (walking, gardening, household chores, suitable physical exercise) who is eager to fully embrace the natural regeneration of their health. Stays run in full weeks, from Saturday to Saturday, and five options are available, depending on the time you have and the depth of transformation you seek:

• DISCOVERY — 1 week, to experience something new

• IMMERSION — 2 weeks, to begin feeling the benefits of a life in harmony with Nature

• GROUNDING — 3 weeks, for new habits to take lasting root

• METAMORPHOSIS — 4 weeks, for a profound change on every level

• RECONNECTION — weekly rental, to come back and simply enjoy the place. This unsupervised option is reserved for former residents who have already completed at least three weeks of supervised stays at the ¡Viva la Vida! Center, whether in one visit or several.
